Inside sources at GoLeft TV report that incidences of uncontrollable infection being spread at nail salons is a growing concern. Soon they will separate the myths from the facts, but in the mean time, some consumers are taking their own instruments to the nail salons so that they are not exposed to shared items. Infection in the fingers and toes are reportedly harder to treat in some cases where circulation is limited. See the video.

I recently visited several nail salons in Daytona Beach Florida and found them to be unsanitary not using correct supplies in doing any of there nails...I have had a license in the state of Massachusetts and find the laws there are much stricter than they are here.....there were laws on using a drimel (not on natural nails) a law on only using nail products all products were to be in view of the customer (which they are NOT in this state), we were taught in Ma. that when nails were removed they were to be soaked off not torn off as they do here, time for the state of florida to inspect all nail salons and either correct the problem or shut them down...I have had the worst experience in this state by far.........thank you....hope this helps the cause for fighting infections and fungus break-outs.........
